1. Introduction

Animus Digital LLC ("Animus Digital," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use digitaladchecker.com and related services (the "Service").

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

  • Contact & Submission Data: Name, email address, phone number, website URL, Facebook Page, Instagram handle, and industry selection
  • Communications: Emails or messages you send to our support address

Information Collected Automatically

  • Website Analytics: We use Google Analytics (GA4) to collect usage data including pages visited, session duration, referral source, and device type
  • Advertising Pixels: We use Meta (Facebook) Pixel and HubSpot tracking for marketing attribution and remarketing
  • Cookies: We use essential cookies for site functionality and analytics/marketing cookies from the third-party services listed above

Information from Third Parties and Public Sources

  • Public Website Data: When you submit a URL for auditing, we scrape and analyze publicly available information from that website — including text, headings, CTAs, and page structure
  • Facebook Ad Library: We retrieve publicly available ad data from the Meta Ad Library for the Facebook Page you identify. This data is publicly accessible without authentication.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To generate and deliver your free ad performance audit report
  • To send transactional emails (report delivery and follow-ups)
  • To send marketing emails (drip campaigns, product announcements) — you may unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email
  • To improve our Service through aggregated, anonymized analysis of usage patterns
  • To track marketing attribution via Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and HubSpot
  • To prevent fraud and abuse

4. Data Storage & Retention

Your submission data and audit outputs are stored in a secure PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon (via Netlify). Data is retained indefinitely so we can reference your audit history. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at office@animusdigital.co.

5. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the following third-party service providers:

  • Resend: Transactional email delivery — your name, email, and audit report content are sent to generate your results email
  • Anthropic (Claude API): AI-generated audit analysis — your website URL, publicly available website content, and publicly available ad data are sent to the Claude API for processing
  • Browserless: Cloud headless browser for rendering and scraping your submitted website URL — only the URL is sent
  • Google Analytics (GA4): Website analytics and usage data
  • Meta (Facebook) Pixel: Advertising attribution and remarketing
  • HubSpot: CRM and marketing automation — name, email, and form submission data
  • Neon / Netlify: Database and application hosting infrastructure

We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or applicable government regulation.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data from our systems
  • Opt-Out: Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email
  • Data Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at office@animusdigital.co.

7. California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.

9. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information. All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
